Lucky for me that I took this photo today and not two days ago when there was NO fruit in the house...That's where our fruit lives, on top of the microwave...loving those little Gala apples and so are my kids...easy to eat and so sweet, and look at those pears...nothing says "Autumn" to me like a bowl full of juicy pears, they won't last long.
I love pears but they've got to be rock hard and crunchy. Peter never eats pears so if they get to the sweet and juicy stage, they're mashed and put into muffins and then we both eat them. Or perhaps I should tell Peter there are pears in the muffins and then I could eat them all myself :-)
